Cloudlift Desk
This desk was commissioned by a couple in Tucson, Arizona–both neuroscientists–for a rather small space in their home office. Because it was going to partially block a stand of file drawers, I designed it with drop leaves. I love projects like this, where architectural needs create interesting logical forms. The inspiration for this style is my own fantasy of Spanish Southwest furniture.
