The desk's wraparound apron helps create a free form that is bound by the drawer box on the right. This desk is made in narra--a wood from the Solomon Islands--which has been certified as sustainably harvested by the dependable Smartwood program. Narra and rosewood handles "This desk was commissioned by a couple in Tucson, Arizona--both neuroscientists--for a rather small space in their home office. Because it was going to partially block a stand of file drawers, I designed it with drop leaves. I love projects like this, where architectural needs create interesting logical forms. The inspiration for this style is my own fantasy of Spanish Southwest furniture. Cherry and Pacific madrone
Lutz Desk Walsh Desk Cloudlift Desk
Designed for a Greene and Greene style Arts and Crafts House in Wyoming, this desk and cabinet are made in oak and elm. They are part of a suite of furniture that includes display cabinets, book shelves, chairs and an additional two tables.   The Savik Desk has a bookmatched plank top of California walnut, and panel tambours of ebonized walnut. The leather seat van Muyden Chair is made of California walnut. Desk dimensions are 28.5" height x 63" width x 36" depth.
