With its grasshopper legs and gently curved seat, the Elrod Chair holds you snug against the lumbar support of its flexible back. Quilted maple with bubinga backslats, leather Designed and made for a 1908 Clarence Johnston (architect) house on Summit Avenue in St. Paul MN. The Poonkinny Chair was designed to complement a reproduction of a Chinese table. It is named after a creek in Round Valley, California, from a Native American word for wormwood. Pacific madrone

A versatile chair, it can be used at a desk, for dining or for occasional seating. California walnut I designed the Bowen Chair in the mid-1980s for Bruce Bowen and Ruth Summers (now director of the Southern Highlands Crafts Guild). This chair is still one of my favorites.
