The silvery flash of brushed aluminum complements certain woods dramatically. The aluminum in this set is intimately entwined with the joinery and the pins,splines and wedges are metal which is machined and worked as if it were wood. The aluminum tray is removable. Fully upholstered chairs awake a sitter's inner feline. When we sit in them, we find ourselves lounging from one position to another, relaxing cross-legged or curling up sideways.
